Taylor cares about the world knowing that you can be both a tech optimist AND a Christian. Technological advances may even be a part of God’s redemptive story.

Additionally, Taylor writes about theology and its intersection with political thought.

He is published on many blogs and is the co-author of Called to Freedom: Why You Can Be Christian and Libertarian (Wipf & Stock 2017).

Taylor Barkley is currently Director for Technology and Innovation at Utah State University’s Center for Growth and Opportunity. There he directs research and represents the portfolio on federal and state tech policy issues. Previously, he was at Stand Together and Stand Together Trust (formerly the Charles Koch Institute) where he worked on technology policy and research at the intersection of culture, technology, and innovation. He has also worked as the Government Affairs Manager at the Competitive Enterprise Institute where he developed relationships with U.S. lawmakers and agency staff, and the Assistant Director of Outreach for Technology Policy at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.

He is originally from southern California and a graduate of Taylor University with a double major in history and political science.
